Ernie Coffey, 54, died Friday, Oct. 23, 1998, at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville.

Mr. Coffey was an employee of Ford Motor Company in Fern Valley. He was also a United States Army Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Opal Aaron Coffey and Bascom Coffey.

Survivors include his wife, Maryanne Schmid Coffey; one daughter, Claudia Coffey; four brothers, Daryl Coffey, Bruce Coffey, Lester Coffey and Carlos Coffey, and one sister, Carol Holt.

Funeral services were Sunday at 2 p.m. at Rippetoe Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert McKenzie officiating.

Interment in Coffey Family Cemetery on Ramsey Creek Road.
