Emerson were married on 29 May 1909 in Grayson Co., TX.²⁷⁵⁶⁶ They^{²⁷⁵⁶⁶} appeared in the census on 16 April 1910 in Collin Co., TX.²⁷⁵⁶⁷ They^{²⁷⁵⁶⁷} appeared in the census on 21 January 1920 at Pct. 5 in Hopkins Co., TX.²⁷⁵⁶⁸ Harlan E. Emerson, son of George Alfred Emerson and Aquila Wall, was born in 1889 in Kentucky. Harlan died in Barnsdall, Osage Co., OK in June 1926 and was buried at Dike, Hopkins Co., TX in June 1926.^27569,27570

In a news article, it was reported that "Harlin Emerson, 32, employe [sic] of the Barnsdall Refining Company is Osage County [OK}, died instantly when he came in contact with a high-voltage electric wire that had been blown down."
