Julian Brian Coffey, age 63, of Lenoir passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020 at his residence. He was born June 7, 1956 to Zella Mae Hodges Coffey and the late Sergius H. Coffey. He was preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Coffey was a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge. He was an avid music lover and a social butterfly who loved to make people laugh. Brian also loved spending time with his family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Zella Mae Hodges Coffey of Lenoir, one son; Jason Coffey and wife Shannon of Lenoir, two daughters; Stachia Hagaman of Granite Falls and Ashleigh Parker and husband Andrew of Lincolnton; and six grandchildren, Jackson Coffey, Wyatt Parker, Matthew Johnfroe, Liam Johnfroe, Savannah Johnfroe, and Dawson Arrington.

Due to COVID-19 a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
