Her death place and burial site are unknown to me. Marvin does not mention this child in his research of this family. He does mention that since Archelaus was not born until 1806 it is possible that another child was born before him but died young. It is interesting to note that this Jane married a William Dean, and that Archelaus' wife was Jane Dean. Perhaps this Jane Coffey does not belong to this family. Jane Coffey and William J. Deen were married circa 1821. William J. Deen, son of Jacob Dean and Susannah Hatty, was born on 18 October 1799 in Tennessee. He made his will on 2 October 1876 in Washington Co., AR.3815 The last will and testament of William Deen [sic] I, William Deen of the county of Washington and state of Arkansas, being of sound mind and disposed to give my property by will to the person hereinafter named do make this my last will and testament this second day of Oct. One thousand eight hundered and seventy-nine. I give and bequeath my body to the earth its mother and my soul to god [sic] who gave it. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Barsheba all the moneys that I may die, possessed of all the rents and profits of the farm on which I now reside during her natural life. I give her also the horses, cattle, sheep, and hogs for her sole use and benefit also all the house and kitchen furniture, and farming utensils. On the deceased [sic] of my wife I give and bequeath to my grandsons Allen, Alfred Deen sons of Wiley Deen, the farm on which I now reside consisting of one hundred and twenty acres to be equally divided between them. I give and bequeath to my son James Deen one dollar I give and bequeath to my son Jacob deen [sic] one dollar. I give and bequeath to my daughter Susan Davis one dollar. I give and bequeath to my daughter Francis Johnson one dollar. I give and bequeath to my daughter Louisa Jane Brown one dollar. I request my son Wiley Deen to execute this will in accordance with my desire above expressed. In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name the 2nd day of Oct. 1876. William Deen.
