Cora M. Coffey and Thomas Frank Linke¹³⁷⁹⁷ were married on 28 October 1897 in Indiana.¹³⁷⁹⁸ They¹³⁷⁹⁸ appeared in the census on 18 June 1900 in Bartholomew Co., IN.¹³⁷⁹⁹ They¹³⁷⁹⁹ appeared in the census on 16 May 1910 in Victoria Co., TX.¹³⁸⁰⁰ Cora and Thomas¹³⁸⁰⁰ appeared in the census on 13 January 1920 in Jackson Co., IN.¹³⁸⁰¹ They¹³⁸⁰¹ appeared in the census on 24 April 1930 in Jackson Co., IN.¹³⁸⁰² They¹³⁸⁰² appeared in the census on 16 April 1940 in Brown Co., IN.¹³⁸⁰³

Frank Linke grew up on a farm near Clifford in Bartholomew County, Indiana. He taught school for a while and at one point traveled to Nebraska by bicycle. There he taught school for a year. Several of his mother's half-brothers and sisters lived in Nebraska. Although I don't actually know, I suppose that they had encouraged Frank to come.

In August of 1896 he married Cora Coffey. Cora was the daughter of Calvin Coffey and Josephine Simmons [sic]. Frank and Cora Linke had six children: Madge, Mary (who died in infancy), Edna (my mother), Helen, Charles, and Jean.

About 1908, the Linke family moved to Bloomington, Texas, along with Frank's brothers Will and Hardin, Cora's brother Web Coffey, and Frank's cousins, Jim Rust (son of Brook Rust and Martha Hendrickson). There they farmed and raised cotton with Negro and Mexican help at picking time. They stayed two and a half years, then all except Web Coffey and Jim Rust returned to Indiana.

Frank bought a farm near Seymore in Jackson County and settled down to farming. There they raised their family. Thomas Frank Linke, son of George O. Linke and Clara Bloom, was born on 25 March 1866 in Clifford, Bartholomew Co., IN. Thomas died in Indiana on 6 May 1964 and was buried at Greenlawn Cemetery in Nashville, Brown Co., IN in May 1964 .¹³⁸⁰⁴

Cora M. Coffey and Thomas Frank Linke had the following children:
