Powell Lenoir, Jan. 29 - Obsequies for Haywood G. Powell, one of Caldwell county's most prominent and successful farmers, were conducted at the residence near Lenoir Tuesday morning. Mr. Powell died Sunday afternoon, a victim of a heart attack. He was 77 years old. Surviving are two children, Mrs. J. M. Brown of Chattanooga, Tenn., and C. C.
