Robert N. Coffey Dies in Hospital After Heart Attack

Robert Novel Coffey, 74, of 6129 Reiger, died in a Dallas hospital late Saturday after being stricken with a heart attack Friday.

Prior to retiring five years ago, he had operated his own investment and loan agency in Dallas since coming here in 1920. Before that he had organized banks in Colorado and West Texas.

He was born in Omaha, Morris County, and had been a Baptist all his life.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Della S. Coffey; a son, John C. Coffey, Dallas, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Ledbetter of Ferris and Mrs. Nora Leeves, Dallas.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the George A. Brewer Funeral Chapel, 4606 Ross. Dr. W. A. Criswell, pastor of the First Baptist Church, and the Rev. Donalds Helseth, associate pastor of the East Dallas Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
