He appeared in the census on 18 August 1860 at with his mother in Bloomington, Old Town Twp., McLean Co., IL. Harvey was still living in Bloomington, Old Town Twp., McLean Co., IL in 1870. He had remarried, and had at least one child, William, age 8. Harvey died on 8 January 1897 and was buried at Hopewell Cemetery in Downs, McLean Co., IL in January 1897 .³⁹¹⁴

In this census record she was recorded as Martha Bishop, age 9. Margaret died in Illinois on 10 September 1861 and was buried at Bishop Cemetery in Downs, McLean Co., IL in September 1861 .³⁹¹⁵
