BEASLEY

Omaha,-Sibyl Beasley, 94, of Omaha, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 1999 at Sunrise Care and Rehabilitation in Omaha.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Nolan Richey will officiate. Interment will be at Concord Cemetery.

Mrs. Beasley was born Nov. 19, 1904 in Omaha,. She was a lifetime resident of Omaha, and was a member of Concord Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, W. C. and Rowene Beasley and Thomas and Marie Beasley, all of Omaha,; grandchildren, Dr.Billy C. Beasley of Oak Grove, La., Penny Ann Knight of Naples and Mary Kay Cline of Omaha,; six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.M. Beasley, who died in 1991.
In 1997 Sibyl was living in the Elmwood Nursing Home in Omaha, Tx. I visited with her and her two sons, Willie C. and Thomas E. on August 1, 1997. I taped our conversation about the Coffey family.

Dear Vanita and Walter.

I was so glad to hear from you. hope all of your Family are well. We are doing better Murl has been sick most all summer he has high Blood pressure I am so much better than I have been. I am taking Vitamin B-6 tablet it sure has help me.

I sure do thank you for sending me the Arthritis Formula. if I get like I was once I sure will try it. Vanita I dont have Mama receipt for the cucumber pickels I wish I did have it.

We got some rain last week we sure ----needed it. Murl has planted his Fall garden I wish you Could see Thomas Children they are Just about grown Bill will finish high School this year he works at Safe Ways in Mt Pleasant in the afternoons and on Saturdays.

I heard John Coffey has passed a way had he are not? I would like to know.
guess I had better get some dinner cook so all of you take care of yourselves and come to see us.
