Dearest Vanita,

Forgive me, lots on my mind. So sorry to know of Walter, Nora, and your friend. But how are you? and your plans. Let me hear your important news you mentioned. I'm anxious.

Nora wanted me, also my mother, to go into the D.A.R.'s and to meet Mrs. Sue Ragland Diggle and she spoke of Zimery Hayes of Omaha, with history. Could you still have Nora's (over) D.A.R. history papers, and could I borrow them. I hope so. are you a DAR? We are U.D.C.'s. Would Mrs. Diggle have papers.

My address is still P.O.Box 92, MalVern, Arkansas 72104 Mrs. Roy (Christine) Sturgis you always keep it close.

I hope to get a small apt, in Dallas later on and also in Tulsa near mama. Who is your Tulsa friend - phone no. and address. Write me I love you Christine

Here is address of one of mama's nurses Mrs. Geneva Lauderback Rt #2, Box 311. Sand Springs, OK 74063 U.S.A. use it if you wish to write to me - mama will like hearing from you - mail gets lost at nursing facilities and the nurse will be expecting your letter but we must always keep in touch - and my Arkansas address is permanent and the lady will forward to me, Bye & Love Happy Mother's Day Chris-

Note to Vanita from Howard: Friday Dear Vanita, With the help of 2 cousins I finally got all of Dad's things out of the villa last Sat. and came back to Tulsa. I needed to get back to the office on Monday. I tried to call Mrs. Johns but I found she was too ill to talk on the phone. I did talk to her private nurse and learned that Christine is also ill. She has some serious problem with her ear. She is in Ark. and does not see her Mother very often. The nurse will try to get your message to her. Mrs. John's number is (918) 749-6267 if you want to talk further to one of her nurses or perhaps sometime she is able to talk on the phone. I didn't get a number for Christine. I certainly hope and pray that thinks are going better for you. I am busy but O.K. - Helen and a niece are coming up Tues. to help me sort out Hazel's personal things. We must trust our Lord to care for us. Love, Howard.

(Howard and Hazel are Vanita's "Tulsa friends" that Christine asked about above.
