He served in the Air Force in World War II. He was born May 29, 1920, the son of Addison W. and Maud Walters Coffey. His mother survives. He was married to Mildred Henson on April 3, 1944, She survives. He was the father of Mrs. Glenda Dale Ables, Georgetown, Ind.; and Roger Coffey of Liberty. He was a brother of Walter Coffey of Phil and Chester Coffey of Danville. He also leaves three grandchildren and one step-grandchild. Services were held at the Bartle Funeral Home on Thursday of last week with Bros. James G. Powell and Finley Hunter officiating. Burial was at Memorial Gardens near Liberty.
