Arnot

Mrs. Ollie Coffee Willis Arnot, age 83, died Tuesday, January 31, 1984. She was born in Miami on October 8, 1901 to Ollie (Stribling) and Woodson Coffee. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and the Altar Guild for many years. She attended Texas University, and was a member of the Delphians.

She worked at a buyer in the china and gift depart of the Amarillo Hardware Company, Potchernichs and Riedens in San Antonio.

Survivors: husband, Claude W. Arnot; daughter, Pattie (Willis) Young: grandchildren, Molly (Young) Houck and Paul Young; son-in-law, Bert Young; step-daughter, Ann Arnot; grandson-in-law, Lou Houck; grand-daughter-in-law, Sharon (Mills) Young; great-grandchildren, Benjamin Paul and Molly Elizabeth Houck and Heather Ollie Young, all of San Antonio; sister, Ruth (Coffee) Coble of Amarillo; brother, Woodson Coffee, Jr., of Dumas, and many beloved sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 4, 1984 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 111 Haverhill, with the Revs. John Roen, James Mitchell, and Rodney Glasscock officiating. Interment will follow at Lockhill Cemetery.

Waid Scott Willis Jr. was born on 16 August 1923 in Roberts Co., TX.39581 Waid died on 16 February 1947 at the age of 23 in San Antonio, Bexar Co., TX and was buried at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City, Hunt Co., TX.39582 Death Notice Waid S. Willis, Jr. Claimed by Death Wait Scott Willis, Jr., 23 years old, a graduate of Amarillo High School, died yesterday at San Antonio. Burial will be in Wolfe City tomorrow afternoon. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Willis, Sr., former residents of Amarillo. Mr. Willis for many years taught mathematics and science in Amarillo High School. Mrs. Willis was manager of the china department at Amarillo Hardware. The family left Amarillo in 1942. Young Willis entered the Navy soon after moving to San Antonio. He had operated a dairy farm near San Antonio since his discharge from the Navy. Survivors besides his parents are a sister, Patti and his grandfather, Woods Coffee, 1603 Madison.
