She was the mother of C.J. "Bud" Henderson of Boone. She was born May 26, 1914 in Clarke County, Iowa, a daughter of Burl D. and Clara Fisher Mason. A lifelong resident of Humeston and Wayne County, Iowa, she was a member and deacon of Humeston Baptist Church. Two husbands Clell D. Henderson and Alonzo A. Coffey, preceded her in death. Survivors include two sisters, Esther Hewitt of West Des Moines, Iowa, and Edna Lum of Muscatine, Iowa, a daughter, Mary E. Poling of Middlepoint, Ohio; four sons, Clarence J. Henderson of Boone, Virgil L. Henderson of Edmonton, Alberta; Harold L. Henderson of Alpharetta, Ga., and Calvin W. Henderson of Winston-Salem; and 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
