Dalton, Dorsie Coffey age 76 of Thorn Hill, TN born Dec. 31, 1924,departed this life May 6, 2001 at Fort Sander Hosptial in Knoxville. She was a member of Oak Hill Church. She was proceded in death by two children, one grandchild and parents, Nathaniel and Pearlie Coffey. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Esco Dalton of Thorn Hill, TN sons and daughter- in -laws, Arnold and Shirley ( Lane ) Dalton of Thorn Hill, TN, Hearld and Linda Dalton of Tazewell; daughters and sons-in-law Judy and Lonnie Douglas Dalton, Betty and Clarence Wolfenbarger, Marie and Boot Carpenter, Elsie and Harold Barnard all of Thorn Hill, TN;13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren;sisters, May Coffey of Franklin, Ohio, Fannie Howerton, Golda Northern, Clydia Spradling all of Bean Station, TN; brothers Berry, Albert, and Kennth Coffey all of Bean Station; several brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends and relatives. Funeral services were held at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell with Rev Tommy Bowlin, Rev John Dalton, and Rev. Kennth Harvey officiating. Burial in the Dalton Cemetery in Thorn Hill, TN.
