Mills. He had been a member of the Baptist church for several years. Mr. Mills was sixty-six years old at the time of his death. He was born in East Tennessee May 26, 1856 and came to Texas in 1897. He located in Dodd City and came to Ivanhoe in 1902 and has since made this his home. Mr. Mills for several years was connected with the public schools of Texas and taught school in various places. He leaves behind a host of friends, a wife and two children, Mrs. Mary Duckworth and Frank C. Mills. His wife, daughter, and son and some of his friends were with him when the end came. We join the entire community in offering our sympathy to the bereaved ones and ask them to weep not but to rejoice over their gain, for is not this, our friend and brother, their husband and father, a treasure laid up in heaven awaiting the faithful some sweet day.
