Mable Haynes, 84, of Lee's Summit, Missouri, died Sunday June 21, 2009 at the Menorah Medical Hospital, Overland Park, Kansas.

She was born June 10, 1925, the daughter of Frank Philip Acker and Nannie Pearl (Chaney) Acker. On February 17, 1950, in Kansas City, Mo., she married Hurrell Boss Coffey, who preceded her in death on April 14, 1970. On October 5, 1991, in Windsor, Mo., she married Charles Lee Haynes, who preceded her in death on April 21, 2006.

Mrs. Haynes was a homemaker and had worked at the Windsor International Shoe Factory for several years. She worked for the Windsor R-1 School district for over 10 years as a cook and had become the cooking Supervisor prior to her retirement. Mable served as the Windsor city collector for 3 years, and then cooked at the former Resthaven nursing home, in Windsor, for several years before her retirement. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church, Windsor.

She is survived by a son Richard Coffey and his wife Pam, Jefferson City, Mo.; a daughter, Diane Schumacher, Lee's Summit, Mo.; 4 grandchildren, Brian Coffey, Brad Coffey and his wife Amy, Joshua Schumacher, and Nathan Schumacher; 2 great-grandchildren, Cameron Coffey and Carley Coffey; 2 step-daughters, Tari Haynes, North Kansas City Mo., and Melba Morrill, Cole Camp, Mo.; a step-son, Charles Haynes, Kansas City, Mo.; a step-grandson; 2 step-great-granddaughters; and a brother, Lonnie Acker, Cole Camp, Mo. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Harvey Acker, Philip Acker,and Charley Acker; 4 sisters, Maude Chryst, Helen Green, Bernice Jordan, and Minnie Christian; and a step-grandson, Matt Mummert.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Thursday, June 25, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, with Reverend Doug Hall officiating. Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions to the First Baptist Church Anniversary Endowment Fund or to the American Lung Association, in care of the funeral home.

Diane (Coffey) Schumacher, 58, of Overland Park, Kansas, formerly of Windsor, Missouri, died unexpectedly, May 22, 2014 at Research Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.

She was born November 29, 1955 in Windsor, Mo., the daughter of Hurrell Boss Coffey and Mabel Irene (Acker) Coffey. Diane graduated from Windsor High School and later from Central Missouri State University (now University of Central Missouri) with a degree in English and Business Education where she was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority. She taught in the Concordia, Mo. school district for three years and then moved to the Grandview School District where she taught English for 28 years before her retirement in 2009. Diane was dedicated to her career and family.

She relished going to her sons' sporting events and supporting them. Survivors include her cherished friend, Dean Gustafson, of the home; two sons, Joshua Schumacher, Lee's Summit, Mo.; Nathan Schumacher, Kearny, Nebraska; a brother, Richard Coffey and his wife Pam, Jefferson City, Mo.; two nephews, Brad Coffey and his wife Amy; Brian Coffey; a great nephew, Cameron Coffey and a great niece, Carley Coffey, numerous other relatives and former husband, Joe Schumacher.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 27, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, Mo., with Rev. Doug Hall officiating. Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday evening at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions to the First Baptist Church, Windsor.
