D, 20th Bn., Virginia Heavy Artillery (Latham's) on 8 March 1862.^{5426,5427,5428} He appeared in the census on 30 April 1910 in Court House Dist., Amherst Co., VA.⁵⁴²⁹

White were married on 28 July 1870 in Amherst Co., VA.^5430,5431 They^{^5430,5431} appeared in the census on 8 June 1880 in Amherst Co., VA.⁵⁴³² They^⁵⁴³² appeared in the census on 4 June 1900 in Amherst Co., VA.⁵⁴³³ Agnes F. White, daughter of Hugh White and Ann , was born in February 1843 in Virginia. Agnes died in Amherst Co., VA on 30 March 1909 and was buried at the Family cemetery in Amherst Co., VA on 31 March 1909 .^5434,5435

Mrs. Agnes F. Coffey

AMHERST, VA., March 30 - Mrs. Agnes F. Coffey, wife of M. B. Coffey, died at her home near the village yesterday. Her remains were buried at the family burying ground on the place this afternoon. Mrs. Coffey had been ill of pneumonia for several weeks. Prior to her marriage she was Miss White. She is survived by her husband and one son, Roy Coffey, of Jacksonville, Fla. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church at this place.

Hugh C. Coffey was born in June 1871 in Virginia. He lived with his parents in Amherst Co., VA on 8 June 1880. He lived with his parents in Amherst Co., VA on 4 June 1900. Hugh died in Amherst, Amherst Co., VA on 17 February 1906.⁵⁴³⁶

Hugh C. Coffey

AMHERST, VA., February 17, - Mr. Hugh C. Coffey died at the residence of his father, Mr. M. B. Coffey, near here, last night, age thirty. He was a surveyor, principal of the public school at Amherst, and for a while a practicing attorney at Amherst Courthouse. His father and mother and one brother, Mr. Roy Coffey, of Jacksonville, Fla., survive him.
