Boyd Thruel Coffey and Gladys Elizabeth Taylor were married on 28 August 1941 in Falls Church, Fairfax Co., VA.⁴³²³⁶ Gladys Elizabeth Taylor, daughter of William Daniel Taylor and Lillian Delila Cook, was born on 17 August 1922 in Virginia. Gladys died in Lyndhurst, Augusta Co., VA on 19 July 2007. Gladys is buried in July 2007 at Mountain Top Christian Church Cemetery in Love, Nelson Co, VA.^43237,43238

Gladys Elizabeth Coffey, 84, of Lyndhurst, died on Thursday, July 19, 2007, at her home.

She was born on Aug. 17, 1922, in Falls Church and was a daughter of the late William Daniel and Lillian Delila Cook Taylor.

Her husband, Boyd T. Coffey died in 1993.

She is survived by three daughters, Betty Nevitt of Stanley, Carol Pegler of Lyndhurst and Judy Akers of Radford; two sister, Irene Robinson of Locust Grove and Anna Kerns of Strasburg; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Roger Coffey, who died in 2004 and a sister Edna Fuerst.

Burial was in the Mount Top Christian Church Cemetery in Love.
