1506. Andrew Jackson Ramsey was born on 2 June 1846 in Virginia. Andrew died in Nelson Co., VA on 23 March 1889 and was buried at Jack Ramsey Gravesite in Nelson Co., VA in March 1889 .⁵⁶⁰¹

CEMETERY: Jack Ramsey Gravesite, Nelson Co., VA LOCATION: From Rt. 56 go 1.1 miles on Painters Mt. Rd., turn right onto a lane, with a silver metal bar across road, go several hundred yards pass small brown cabin on right, continue on through gate, (must have key or guide and permission), bear left in lane come into a meadow or pasture field with a renovated log house to the right. Go left along a path for a few hundred feet then bear right into the woods up hill several hundred feet gravesite in woods.

One headstone, one foot stone and the original fieldstone marker. Andrew Jackson Ramsey was a son of Joshua Madison Ramsey & Nancy Steele, he was married to Lucy Ann Ham and the father of 9 children. Visited 9 May 2000 by Buck Harris, Lura Coffey Steele and Carol Hite Harlow

Andrew Jackson Ramsey and Lucy Ann Ham were married on 1 February 1866 in Augusta Co., VA.⁵⁶⁰² Lucy Ann Ham was born on 9 September 1845 in Augusta Co., VA. Lucy died in Virginia on 2 June 1943 and was buried at Mount Paran Baptist Church Cemetery in Montebello, Nelson Co., VA in July 1943 .⁵⁶⁰³
