Mrs. Coffey was born May 5, 1921 in Stokes County, a daughter to the late Charles H. and Annie Lee Lawson Jessup. She was a homemaker, loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother. She was the only survivor of her 14 siblings and was also preceded in death by two husbands, James Irvin Christian in 1970 and Wilford Myers Coffey in 2003. Surviving are her sons, Charlie Christian and wife Martha and Mike Christian and wife Angel; and her grandchildren, Ryan, Chad and Jessica. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the chapel of the Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point with Pastor Roy Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
