Saylor Marshall Coffey, Jr., age 66, of Roanoke, died Monday, May 4, 1992. Mr. Coffey is survived by his wife, Marjorie E. Coffey; one daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Jim Hardie, Roanoke; three brothers, Novell M. Coffey, Newport News; Moda R. Coffey, Roanoke; Wilford M. Coffey, High Point, N.C.; three sisters, Louise Staton, Jacksonville, Fla.; Mildred Barger, Spring Hill, Fla.; Annie Carr, Roanoke; two grandchildren, Amy Hardie, Jason Hardie. funeral services will be held Thursday, May 7, 1992, at 12:00 noon at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Edgar, daughter of Sidney George Edgar and Sarah Ginn, was born circa 1925 in Point Leamington, New Foundland, Canada. Marjorie died in Roanoke, VA on 26 January 1999 and was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir, Caldwell Co., NC on 29 January 1999 .^29585,29586

COFFEY, Marjorie E., 74, of Roanoke, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 1999. She was the widow of Saylor M. Coffey, Jr. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Jim Hardie, Sunset Beach, N. C.; her grandchildren, Amy Hardie, Jason Hardie; brother, Sidney W. Edgar and his wife, Joan, Kingsport, Tenn.; sister, Doris E. Orfield and her husband, C. H., Kingsport, Tenn.; several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Friday, January 29, 1999 from Oakey's North Chapel. Dr. Darryl G. Crim will officiate. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Oakey's North Chapel.
