He lived with his parents in Chattanooga, Hamilton Co., TN on 5 April 1930.¹⁷³⁸⁴ Corliss died coronary thrombosis on 10 December 1947 at the age of 58 at Newell & Newell Sanitarium in Chattanooga, Hamilton Co., TN and was buried at Forest Hills Cemetery in Chattanooga, Hamilton Co., TN.^{17385,17386,17387,17388}

Corliss Buchanan and Buena Wells were married circa 1909. They appeared in the census on 15 January 1920 in Belleville, St. Clair Co., IL.¹⁷³⁸⁹ Buena Wells was born on 23 January 1887 in Missouri. Buena died in Chattanooga, Hamilton Co., TN in February 1967.¹⁷³⁹⁰
