Eavey, 89 WAYNESBORO -- Lucy Mae (Coffey) Eavey, of 1102 Forest Ave., died Monday (March 15, 2004) at Augusta Medical Center. She was born Feb. 7, 1915, at Augusta County, to Hansford C. and Sarah (Houff) Coffey. She retired from the former District Home as a supervisor of food services. Mrs. Eavey was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Dale E. Eavey; a sister, Betty Russell; and a brother, Ralph David Coffey. Survivors include her husband, Harry Eavey; three sons, Jackie B. Coffey, Donnie Coffey Sr. and Jerry L. Coffey; a brother, Maxie Coffey of Waynesboro; and a sister, Glady F. Colvin, also of Waynesboro. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Shenandoah Heights Baptist Church. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening at Reynolds Funeral Home, Waynesboro. Lucy's obituary reads that she was survived by three Coffey sons, Jackie B. Coffey, Donnie Coffey Sr. and Jerry L. Coffey.
