Mathews County, Nelson County, Greene County and assisted for years as traveling evangelist with Christian missionary societies.Funeral services, 2 P. M. Saturday at Calvary Church of Chirst "Old Ground Squirrel Christian Church.' Interment in Woodland Cemetery Ashland.

He is survived by his wife Mrs.Mae Coffey Leake: daughter. Mrs. Martin J. Hayes of Troy, N.Y. ; six sons, Earl C.. of Charlottesville. Va., John H,. Frank S.. Donald E.. all of Richmond, Walter H.. Jr., of Towson, Md., Arthur Brick of Dolton, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Eula Kibler, of Rockville, Va., Mrs. Esau Rose, of Proffift, Va..Mrs. Stevenson McCauley. of Proffit. Va.: two brothers. John W. , of Proffitt, Va., Robert P. , of Stoney Point, Va.; eight half-brothers and sisters; 23 grand-children and 15 great-grand-children. Remains rest at Bennett Funeral Home until 12 Noon, Saturday and in church until time of funeral.

He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Myrtle Toler Leake; his son, Wayne F. Leake and his wife, Teresa; a daughter, Sharon Leake Jones; his grandchildren, G. Scott Leake and his wife, Heather; Joshua M Leake, Katherine E Leake, Virginia M. Leake and Jared R. Jones; a great-grandson, Aaron Spencer Leake; a sister, Ruby Leake Rogers of Palm Bay FL; and his brother, Earl C. Leake of Charlottesville. Mr. Leake was preceded in death by five brothers, Ralph M., John H., Walter H., Arthur B. and Donald E. Leake. During World War II he served for five years on the Navy cruiser Nashville, Gen. Douglas MacArthur's command ship during the invasion of the Philippines. During the l960's, he served as bishop of the church's Richmond Ward, or congregation.
