Oscar died in Fairview, Major Co., OK on 25 August 1993 and was buried at Canton Cemetery in Canton, Blaine Co., OK in August 1993 .⁴⁴⁰²⁰

Oscar George "Pete" Coffey and Johnny Maye Otwell were married on 2 May 1937. Johnny Maye Otwell was born on 21 June 1919 in Hot Springs, Garland Co., AR. Johnny died in Enid, Garfield Co., OK on 21 February 2007 and was buried at Canton Cemetery in Canton, Blaine Co., OK in February 2007 .⁴⁴⁰²¹

The funeral for Johnnie Maye Coffey, 87, will be 1 p.m. Monday at Evangel Assembly of God Church, Enid. Lester Lowry and John H. Walker, pastors, will officiate. Burial will be in Canton Cemetery. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

She was born June 21, 1919, in Hot Springs, Ark., to Gus Alexander and Janie Delilah Louten Otwell and died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007, in Enid. She attended school in Carlton. She married Oscar George "Pete" Coffey May 2, 1937, in Canton. They moved to Eagle City in 1949 and then to Chester in 1957, living there until 1960, when they moved to Fairview. She worked at Fellowship Home in Fairview as a cook 1960-1990. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Fairview. She volunteered for the senior center and hospital in Fairview. She moved to Enid in 1996. She was a member of Evangel Assembly of God Church.

Surviving are five daughters...two sons...one brother...21 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Oscar, two infant grandchildren, two infant great-grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters.
