NELIA BUNCH COFFEY, wife of John Zollie Coffey of Morristown, Tenn.,was born June 22, 1896 and departed from this life February 22, 1965. She professed faith in Christ at an early age and joined the Lone Hill Baptist Church in Claiborne County, She later moved her letter to Oak Hill Baptist Church, where she remained a faithful member until death. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, John Zollie Coffey; two sons, Macy Coffey and J. L. Coffey, two daughters, Mrs. Cleo Jackson of New Market and Mrs. Ruby Wallen and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her loss. But their loss is Heaven's gain, so sleep on until we meet again.Written by husband and children.

Carrie died at of cholera in Grainger Co., TN on 26 August 1914 and was buried at Condry Cemetery in Grainger Co., TN on 27 August 1914 .³⁸³²⁴ Carrie May is said to have been the daughter of John Zolley and wife Nelia Bunch but her birth date is well before the marriage date of John and Nelia. Carrie is also said to have been a daughter of Nelia but father not named. Carrie's death certificate names her mother as Mary E. Coffey who might be Myrtle E., daughter of Nelia.
