Tilmon Coffey, 93, of New Tazewell, died Friday, 27 Nov 1970 at Claiborne County Hospital.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Coffey Chapel with Rev. Sam Coffey and Paul Janeway officiating. Burial in Mabe Cemetery. Pallbearers: Detlan Cochran, Tommie Haun, G.D. Coffey, Ray Lee Coffey, Nathan Coffey. Coffey Mortuary, Inc. in charge.

Tillmon Coffey and Bealey Ferguson were married circa 1904 in Tennessee. They appeared in the census on 26 April 1910 in Hancock Co., TN.³⁸⁶⁵¹ Bealey Ferguson, daughter of Lee Ferguson and Alice Mullins?, was born on 4 June 1890 in Tennessee.

According to the 1920 Hancock Co.. census record, Bealey was 26 yrs old making her birth year closer to 1894.

Bealey died on 21 July 1989 at the age of 99 in Hancock Co., TN and was buried at Carpenter Cemetery in Sneedville, Hancock Co., TN.³⁸⁶³⁵
