TN.³⁸⁶³⁸ Hamilton died of cardio-renal vascular disease on 30 December 1953 at the age of 73 at Middlesboro Hospital in Middlesboro, Bell Co., KY and was buried at Mabe Cemetery in Claiborne Co., TN on 3 January 1954.^38639,38640
