Obituary:
George C. Sline of Wellesley died on June 9, 2008, at Marlboro Hospital. He was 94. He had lived in Wellesley for 40 years.

Mr. Sline was a retired accountant for Railway Express Agency of Boston for 40 years. In his retirement he continued his love for classical music and travel.
Husband of the late Alice T. (Broderick) Sline, he is survived by his daughters, Janet E. Hood and her husband Peter of Needham and Paula A. Sline of Gloucester; his son, James M. Sline of Wellesley; his grandchildren, Peter Hood Jr. of Gloucester, Christopher Hood of Needham, Amy Hood of San Francisco, Calif., Timothy Hood of Needham and Jennifer Hood of Walpole; and nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. Sline’s funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. (Route 16), Wellesley, will take place Thursday at 8 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Paul Church, Wellesley, at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley.
