Karl Adolf Tripke (my grandfather), born 26 November 1903 at Joanka, baptized 8 December 1903 at Sobieseki (Lutheran church), died around 6 September 1939 in or near Sobotka, Kreis Kolo, Poland. He was a shoemaker of wooden shoes (clogs ?) and a small farmer. 1st Marriage around 1926 to Amalie Wilde. She was born around 1905 and died around 1930 may be at Piaski, Kr. Turek, Poland. She was daughter of Michael Wilde and … nee Kassner of Piaski. Twins died in infancy. His 2nd Marriage 18 October 1933 at Dabie (Baptist church), Kreis Kolo, to my grandmother Elli Job. She was daughter of Julius Job and Karoline Wilde and cousin of Karl Adolf´s 1st wife. She was born 29 June 1912 at Olendry Chwalborskie, Kreis Turek and died 19 December 1982 at Wolfsburg, Germany. Karl Adolf and Elli had 2 daughters (Gertrud Edith and Erika Johanna – my mother).
