Born Nov. 15, 1906 in Caldwell County, he was the son of the late Doc Washington Clark and Chartha Rachel Coffey. Mr. Clark was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers. He was retired from Kincaid Furniture Co. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Mack (Helen) Coffey and Ernestine Goff, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Matheson officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 until 8:30. Memorials may be made to the Caldwell County Hospice. Albert never married.
