He was born May 20, 1912 In Caldwell County, N.C., the son of the late Dock Washington Clark Sr. and Rachael Coffey Clark. He was a retired employee of Radford Army Ammunition Plant after 28 years of employment. He attended Anderson Memorial Presbyterian Church, Pulaski. Surviving are his wife, Clyde Eller Clark; four daughters, Mrs. Muncy (Barbara) Swecker and Mrs. William (Dorothy) Waller, both of Pulaski, Mrs. Richard (Carol Ann) King of Dublin, and Kristie Marie Clark at home; one son, Roger M. Clark of Pulaski, and six grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Ed (Hazel) Gragg of Linville, N.C., Mrs. Francis Clark, Mrs. Mack (Helen) Coffee, and Mrs. Ernestine Goff, all of Lenoir, N.C., and one brother, Lonnie Clark of Lenoir, N.C. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. from Anderson Memorial Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Lewis- Sanderford officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be anytime today at Bower Funeral home with the family receiving friends from 7 to 9 p.m. The body will be taken to the church at noon Friday to lie in-state until the time of the service. Born April 22, 1915 in Grayson County, she was the daughter of the late Chapman Bruce Eller and Elvira Miles Eller. She was preceded in death by her husband Dock Washington Clark Jr. and a sister, Ruth Eller. She was a member of the Seniority Club of Pulaski Community Hospital and member of the Anderson Memorial Presbyterian Church, Pulaski. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Muncy (Barbara) Swecker, Mrs. William (Dorothy) Waller, both of Pulaski, Mrs. Richard (Carol Ann) King of Dublin, and Kristi Marie Clark of the home; one son, Roger Miles Clark Sr. of Pulaski; three sisters, Mrs. Hazel Gregory of Pulaski, Mrs. Faye Cole of Independence, Mrs. Bertha Goodson of Aberdeen, Md.; two brothers, Glenn Jackson Eller of Draper, Jack Don Eller of Willowick, Ohio; seven grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Anderson Memorial Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Ray Riddleberger officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
