San Francisco Chronicle, Sunday, March 23, 2008, p Z-99 Vivian Alice Liddell Died peacefully on March 11, 2008. She was the beloved wife of her late husband George, in a marriage of 71 years. Vivian was born December 30, 1908 in Springfield, OH, to Grace and Elmer Coffey, the fourth of 12 children. Her remaining sibling, Lee Coffey (wife, Louise), resides in Adrian, MI. She was a strong, smart and independent woman. Her love of family was constant and deep. She and George shared a great interest in the business world, gardening, cooking, books and faithfulness to their church. Her family remembers with fondness that her house was full of laughter and story telling. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Lee (Jack) Boerger of San Francisco, Shirley Bunton of Harrison, ID; grandchildren, Nina (Tim) Boyle of San Francisco, Nancy (Tom) Thro of Petaluma, CA, Sue (Mitch) Ford of Grants Pass, OR, Bill (Barbara) Bunton of Austin, TX; and great-grandchildren, Drew and Owen Boyle, Chris and Jenny Thro, and Chrysanthi Bunton. Interment will be at Madronia Cemetery in Saratoga, CA. He was 89. He was born Dec. 30, 1908, in Detroit, Mich., and was a salesman in wholesale and manufacturing. He was a member of the Saratoga Presbyterian Church for nearly 30 years. Survivors include wife of 71 years Vivian Liddell of Saratoga; daughters Shirley Bunton of Harrison, Idaho and Georgeanne Boerger of San Francisco; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
