She professed faith in Christ at an early age and joined the Oak Hill Baptist Church[. She] later moved her membership to Bridge Port Missionary Baptist church where she remained a member until death. She married Rev. Gus Harville and to union were born 9 children, one daughter Dorsie Harville preceded in death. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Gus Harville, six sons Jack, L. C., Elum, " Tobby ", Robert and Rev. Coy Harville: two daughters, Mrs. Clora Dalton and Mrs. Ruth Dalton. 25 grandchildren, 15 great grand children, one brother, Enos Coffey; one sister, Alice Shockley; and host of nieces and nephew, and friends. Funeral services were held at Bridge Port Church Jan. 1, 1984 with Rev. Lester Dalton and Rev. Robert Smith, and Rev. Avery Dalton officiating. Singers were Dalton and Rucker Quarter.
