Coffey and Winifred Crumpton were married on 22 December 1821 in Wilkes Co., NC.347,348 They347,348 appeared in the census on 26 November 1850 in Gilmer Co., GA.349 Some of the information pertaining to the descendants of Jesse and Winifred was provided in a report, Descendants of Edward Coffey, by Cecile Purcell, and was dated April, 2001. Other information also comes from a Family Group Record dated Dec., 1992, and provided by James Martin Coffey, Jr., 5691 Mill Trace Drive, Atlanta, GA 30338. Winifred Crumpton, daughter of Hezekiah Crumpton and Jane Fields, was born on 20 November 1801 in North Carolina. She lived with her son John in Pickens Co., GA on 30 June 1860. Winifred died on 11 November 1863 at the age of 61 in Pickens Co., GA and was buried at Long Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery in Marblehill, Pickens Co., GA.350 Jesse S.
