He is survived by his wife of the home; daughter, Anita Giddens of Lone Grove and nephews, Jerry B. and James Ray Coffey, both of Oklahoma City. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elijah and Alice Bertha Cops Coffey, one brother, James H. Coffey and a sister, Lastella Cantrell. James Densman officiated at the services. She was born in Hammond, Oklahoma to the late Francis Marion Sifford and Alice Gracie Kissinger Sifford on September 1, 1921. Opal grew up in Hammond and later in life moved to Oklahoma City before moving to the Bumcomb Creek area. She married Carl "Pud" Coffey. He preceded her in death.
