Graveside services for Carl Lefay "Pud" Coffey, 80 of Kingston were September 24 in the Greenhill Cemetery in Davis. He died September 2l in the nursing facility in Kingston.

He was born October 25, l922 in Iowa Park, Texas and was raised in Davis. He lived in Houston, Texas, Oklahoma City and California before moving to the Lake Texoma area 20 years ago. He married Opal Naoma Sifford in Vernon, Texas. He was a member of the Baptist faith and enjoyed playing dominoes, fishing and deer hunting.

He is survived by his wife of the home; daughter, Anita Giddens of Lone Grove and nephews, Jerry B. and James Ray Coffey, both of Oklahoma City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elijah and Alice Bertha Cops Coffey, one brother, James H. Coffey and a sister, Lastella Cantrell.

James Densman officiated at the services.

Carl Lefay "Pud" Coffey and Opal Naoma Sifford were married in Oklahoma. Opal Naoma Sifford, daughter of Francis Marion Sifford and Alice Gracie Kissinger, was born on 1 September 1921 in Kingston, Marshall Co., OK. Opal died on 29 August 2008at the Family Care Center in Kingston, Marshall Co., OK and was buried at Green Hill Cemetery in Davis, Murray Co., OK on 3 September 2008.^47519,47520

Opal Naoma Coffey, 86 of Kingston passed away Friday, August 29, 2008 at the Family Care Center in Kingston. She was born in Hammond, Oklahoma to the late Francis Marion Sifford and Alice Gracie Kissinger Sifford on September 1, 1921. Opal grew up in Hammond and later in life moved to Oklahoma City before moving to the Bumcomb Creek area. She married Carl "Pud" Coffey. He preceded her in death. Opal enjoyed cooking and taking care of Pud.

She is survived by: Nephews: Jerry Coffey, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; James Coffey, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Niece: Debra Edgmond, Blanchard, Oklahoma. Opal was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Graveside Services Wednesday September 3, 2008, 10:00 am at Greenhill Cemetery, Davis, Oklahoma.
