Coffey, a former resident of Davis, died Wednesday morning at Capitol Hill General hospital following a six-month illness. He had lived in Oklahoma City since 1941 when he left Davis. He was born Oct. 8, 1895, at Roff, I.T., and married Bertha Cops in June of 1915. Survivors are his wife Bertha; two sons, James H. and Carl L., and one daughter, Mrs. LaSpella Cantrell, all of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren; six brothers, Ardenelle, Arthur and Woodrow, all of Ada, Cleo of Pampa, Tex., Dock and Ike of Amarillo, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Mae Webster of Ada, and Mrs. Maybelle McKell of Odessa, Tex.
