Hickory, June 1 - Grover Franklin Turner, 51, Hickory real estate broker, died early today in a Lenoir hospital after an illness of two months.

Funeral services will be held at the Rock Chapel Church of God in Granite Falls at 3 p.m. Thursday, and burial will be in Catawba Memorial Park.

Turner was a native of Caldwell County and is survived by his wife; three sons, Jack and Jimmie Turner of the home and Grover Franklin Turner Jr., of Hickory; four daughters, Mrs. Harold Biddix of Hickory, Mrs. Frank Biddix of Spruce Pine, Mrs. Arnold Lidener of Portsmouth, Va., and Miss Vera Turner of Hickory; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Turner of Granite Falls; five brothers, Perry Turner of Roanoke, Va., John Turner of Connelly Springs, Charles Turner of Hudson, Glenn Turner of Valdese and Wade Turner of Hickory; and six sisters, Mrs. Brisco Hayes, Mrs. Garland Smith and Mrs. Grady Hartley of Granite Falls, Mrs. Oma Leatherman and Mrs. Gladys Robbins of Valdese and Mrs. Ode Hartley of Hickory.
