Rebecca "Connie" Gwendolyn Hoyle, 55, of Valley View Circle, Lenoir died Monday, Nov. 15, 2004 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 15, 1949 in Watauga County, N.C. to the late Orvil Hatley and Missouri Ann Coffey Hatley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Earl Hatley, P.J. Hatley, Ray Hatley, Lennie Hatley and James Hatley; six sisters, Hazel, Imogene, Nellie Pearl and Katherine Hatley, Mary Bristol and Shirley Rich; and one son, Billy Hoyle.

Mrs. Hoyle was a homemaker and member of Liberty Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Hoyle of Colletsville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Denisa Hammons and husband Bobby of Caldwell, Texas, Phyllis Stout and husband Eric of Lenoir, N.C. and Kara Adams and husband Jody of Lenoir, N.C.; brother, Howard Hatley of Morganton; sister, Mabel Bristol and husband the Rev. Dewey Bristol of Colletsville; two sisters, Bonnie Rich of Lenoir and Ruth Rich of Blowing Rock; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. Dewey Bristol officiating. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends today, Nov. 17, 2004 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Pendry's Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jeffery Thompson, Jody Adams, Kenneth Williams, James Rich, Jimmy Rich, Roy Bristol and Scott Bristol.
