219. Lewis Coffey was born on 12 January 1777 in Virginia. He appeared in the census on 26 September 1850 in Gwinnett Co., GA.⁷⁵⁸ Lewis died on 29 November 1853 at the age of 76 in Gwinnett Co., GA and was buried at Old Suwanee Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford, Gwinnett Co., GA.⁷⁵⁹

Another child of Lewis and Elizabeth may be Webster, born c1820 in NC and, can be found in Murray Co., GA in 1850.

Lewis was b. 12 Jan. Elizabeth d. between 1840 and 1850. They had children: (1) Gilbert, m. Mary, went to Mississippi, Choctaw Co. He was between 30 & 40 and Mary was 40 to 50 in 1850. They had 8 children. (2) Louney, b. 1806 was still single in 1850 in Gwinette Co., GA. (3) Sarah, b. 1812, m. Jesse Brawner. (4) Chaney, m. Gallatin Stevens. (5) Edmond A., b. 1820, m. Diannah Bagby. Catherine may not be the daughter of Lewis. Elizabeth Cleveland died in 1833 at age 54; Catherine was born in 1831. Louney was unmarried in 1850. When Catherine was born she would have been 25 yrs. old, young enough to have been her mother.Elizabeth Cleveland was born on 22 November 1778. Elizabeth died on 6 March 1833 at the age of 54 in Gwinnett Co., GA and was buried at Old Suwanee Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford, Gwinnett Co., GA.^760,761
