There was a Josephine Toley, age of 13, that lived next to the Coffey family in 1870 in Bloomington, McLean County, Illinois, but many researchers have Martin Alexander's wife as a Josephine Donahue. A Josaphin Donahue born in New Jersey was also present in Bloomington in 1870, listed as a domestic servant and 12 years of age, in the household of James B. Strayer.

3287	vi.	Zella Coffey was born in May 1884 in Kansas.
