Math died by accidental electrocution on 22 August 1942 at the age of 32 at North Side Mine in Co-Operative, McCreary Co., KY and was buried at Sherd Dobbs Cemetery in Whitley City, McCreary Co., KY on 24 August 1942.^41494,41495
