Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, April 18, at the Baptist church in Clarksdale. Burial was in Thornton cemetery west of Clarksdale. Mr. Coffey was a son of Stanton P. and Mary Coffey and was born September 20, 1865 at Denmark, Russell county, Ky. He was 82 years, 5 months and 14 days of age at the time of his passing. He was united in marriage to Mary Jane Stone December 25, 1890. To this union five children were born, Mrs. Max Newman, Chicago, Mrs. Grant V. Williams, Stewartsville, Mo., Mrs. Robert Berning, Crosby, Mo., Mrs. Leo Weidmier, and Thomas Lee Coffey. He is also survived by one brother, Charles Coffey, of Jamestown, Ky., and one sister, Latrice Jane Harvey of Galveston, Texas, nine grand-children and a host of relatives and friends who will mourn his passing. His twin brother, Thomas Jefferson Coffey, passed away in Dec., 1946. He was a loyal and devoted member of the Clarksdale Baptist church. Stone on Dec. 25, 1890, in Bayfield, DeKalb County, Missouri. Mollie J. Stone was born in June, 1872 in Missouri and died after 1930. Her parents were William H.
