Anna Estella "Ella" Coffey and Albert "Shorty" Vaughn were married. Albert "Shorty" Vaughn, son of Abram Vaughn and Ann Mary Ramsey, was born on 1 October 1899 in Overton Co., TN. Albert died on 6 June 1982 at the age of 82 in Oneida, Scott Co., TN and was buried at Litton Cemetery in Oneida, Scott Co., TN on 8 June 1982.²⁶⁷⁸⁹

Albert "Shorty" Vaughn, 82, of Litton Rd. Oneida, passed away at his home on Tuesday morning, July 6. The son of the late Abram Vaughn and the late Ann Ramsey Vaughn, he was retired from Jellico Grocery in Oneida and was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Estella Vaughn of Oneida; a son, William R. Vaughn of Greeneville; two daughters: Helen Gipson of Decherd, and Phyllis Duncan of Oneida; a brother, Bill Vaughn of Livingston; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from the Bethlehem Baptist Church at 1 p.m. today (Thursday) with Rev. Roy Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in the Litton Cemetery.
