1992. Jesse (Cleveland?) "Red Eye" Coffey was born in May 1859 in Yadkin Valley, Caldwell Co., NC.⁷⁶⁰⁸ He lived with his parents in Johns River Twp., Caldwell Co., NC on 20 July 1860. He lived with his cousin George Washington Coffey in Yadkin Valley, Caldwell Co., NC on 15 June 1880. Red Eye lived with his son William Carlton Coffey in Globe Twp., Caldwell Co., NC on 15 April 1940. Jesse died of uremia on 31 January 1941 at the age of 81 in Yadkin Valley, Caldwell Co., NC and was buried at White Springs Cemetery in Blowing Rock, Watauga Co., NC on 1 February 1941.^7609,7610

Raines, was born on 3 May 1857 in Haywood Co., NC.⁷⁶¹⁶ Lucinda died of dropsy on 3 July 1933 at the age of 76 at home in Globe Twp., Caldwell Co., NC and was buried in Globe Twp., Caldwell Co., NC in the Coffey Home Cemetery.^7617,7618
