Susie Jane Campbell Coffey, 94, of Tyro, died Thursday, Nov. 10, in Eldercare Gardens in Charlottesville. She was the widow of Leslie Coffey.

Born in Nelson County May 30, 1900, she was a daughter of the late Ellis and Mary Crist Campbell. She moved to Lynchburg in 1952. She was a member of the Thomas Road Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Ellis Coffey of Philadelphia, Penn.; one daughter, Dora Hudson of Alexandria; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Campbell and four sisters, Josephine Bright, Kate Kirby, Belle Campbell and Georgia Campbell. Burial was in Jonesboro Cemetery.

Leslie died of cerebral sarcoma and was buried at on 26 August 1964 at the age of 63 at Memorial Hospital in Lynchburg, Independent City, VA and was buried at .^{15003,15004,15005,15006}
