She was born on February 3, 1930 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late George W. Flint and Margaret Thompson Flint. She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Jonas Coffey. She was a member of the Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church and was also a member and former Director of the Senior Adult Ministry and the American Legion. She is survived by her husband, Henry L. Coffey; three sons, Rev. Lewis Fresman Coffey and wife Mary, Wesley Coffey and wife Margie, all of Buena Vista, Rev. Roger Coffey and wife Tammy of Whiteville, NC; six grandchildren, Jessy Coffey, Fern Davis, Jeff Coffey, Magan Coffey, Emily Coffey and Lindsey Coffey; three great-grandchildren, Caige, Chad Jr. and Chesney; special niece, Teresa Markham and husband Steve. Also surviving are many other nieces and nephews and special friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 17, 2008, at the Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. W. A. Mills and the Rev. W. David Bain officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family. The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., at the church.
