Mrs. Mary E. Coffey

Danville, Ky., April 24. - Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Coffey, 72 years old, died last night at 9 o'clock of a complication of diseases. She had been in ill health for more than a year and for the past month had been confined to her home. Her husband died in 1907.

She is survived by six children: Police Chief A. J. Coffey, of Danville; J. C. Coffey, of Reton [sic] [Raton], N.M.; Mrs. J. H. Newlin, of Crab Orchard; Mrs. J. Y. Middleton, of Cincinnati; Mrs. W. C. Black, of Lexington, and Mrs. R. C. Warren, of Washington, D.C. Funeral arrangements have not been made.

Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Jones and John Marshal "Marsh" Coffey were married. John Marshal "Marsh" Coffey, son of Thomas Coleman Coffey and Patience Jane Miller, was born on 2 January 1850 in Wayne Co., KY. He lived with his parents in Wayne Co., KY on 2 September 1850. He lived with his parents in Wayne Co., KY on 25 June 1860. Marsh lived with his parents in Wayne Co., KY on 29 July 1870. He lived with his parents in Lincoln Co., KY on 16 June 1880. John died in Perryville, Boyle Co., KY on 17 May 1908 and was buried at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford, Lincoln Co., KY on 19 May 1908 .4480
