Edith Lorraine Coffey passed away on Feb. 27, 2012, at the Ventura Convalescent Hospital.

She was born in Ventura to Keith and Ora Coffey at Big Sister's Hospital on Oct. 6, 1929. She attended elementary, senior high and junior college in Ventura. Edith was proud of the career she had with the F.B.I. in Washington, D.C., San Francisco and Los Angeles. She was very proficient at knitting and made many of her own sweaters. She also liked to play golf and bowl. Upon her retirement she returned to Ventura.

Edith was predeceased by her parents, Keith and Ora Coffey, and her brother, Donald Coffey. Survivors include her sister, Pat Caldwell, Pat's husband Jim, and their four children, Lorraine, Donald, Robert and Edward Caldwell; her sister-in-law, Betty Coffey and her two children, Linda and Richard Coffey.
