D. Coffey North Wilkesboro, Jan. 23 - Mrs. C. D. Coffey of North Wilkesboro died today at 7:30 a.m. at St. Albans Hospital in Radford, Va., where she had been a patient. She would have been 87 tomorrow. She was the widow of the C. D. Coffey, Pioneer North Wilkesboro lumberman. She is survived by a son, C. D. Coffey Jr., of North Wilkesboro; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, at the home of Mrs. Coffey's son here by Dr. W. R. Wagoner, pastor of the North Wilkesboro First Baptist Church, of which she was a member, and Dr. Watt M. Cooper, pastor of the North Wilkesboro Presbyterian Church.
